Introduction

This manuscript is written as part of the astronomy course VLBI Techniques by Prof. R.T. Schilizzi. First a general picture is given about the object . Then it is summarized what is known about the compact radio structure of SS433. A lot of this work is based on research done by Vermeulen (1989). Both VLBI and MERLIN data are discussed.
