Introduction

Although this galaxy appears to look normal in morphology there are some strange things happening here. First there is the problem with the optical identification. It appears that the optical counterpart of this galaxy is centered on the right radio lobe, instead of on the radio core. Another strange feature is visible in the low resolution 6 cm map. There is a bright spot on the left side of 4C24.28, and it is perfectly aligned with the rest of the source. After careful examination (inspecting the entire map, looking for other artefacts, using less clean components in the Self-calibration algorithm) we have come to the (careful) conclusion that it can be real, but we are still not very sure about it. The redshift is .
